Meet Frank Apostolopoulos and remember his name.
Frank Ap is one of Biba's not so secret hairdressing weapons. If you know the salon brand you'll know that
Biba is a leader in the highly competitive Melbourne market. And thats not suprising when you listen to what Frank has to say in this interview.

Biba has achieved what so many salon groups never have - generational succession.

Listening to Frank describe the
hairdressing culture of Biba is inspirational and very telling.
He discribes Paul's influence on him as a 15 year old. Over the next 15 years Frank has built a mega-career encompassing
Creative Directorship of the Biba group, ownership of three salons plusa full international schedule of photoshots and education

But here's the thing that made me really smile - he's passing on Biba's incredible culture himself now to the next generation of Biba talent. The place must be infectious with creative energy.
I received a compelling email from one of Frank's staff nominating him for an interview. That in itself is something to be proud of. But as I reviewed Frank's biography it became clear that this was a Hairdresser on the move up.

Frank and Biba have had a huge year both creatively and in a business sense in 2007.
Along with the
Guy Kremer Award in this year's L'Oreal Colour Trophy, Biba has collected more awards than I care to list. Check out their website for details.
In 2008 Frank promises us a 'whole different level' of Biba creative offerings - so we can't wait to see that!
Did I mention plans for a NSW training academy?
You'll have to listen to the podcast for all of those juicey bits.
