Shortcuts Salon & Spa Software Website

Shortcuts salon management software needs no real introduction. Considered as the Hairdressing and Spa industry leader in salon business systems Shortcuts have had an unchallenged lead in the software arena for over a decade.
So what more is there to say about it? We take a look at their website to see if we can dig up an extra gem or two.

A nice clean navigation bar is always a welcome sight (pardon the pun). So thats a good start for a software company. Surprisingly the site is not too bad on the eyes either, thats always a positive as we hairdresser's prefer 'pretty, beautiful things' (and why wouldn't we?).
I rolled up my sleeves, dusted off my mouse and dug about in search of gems. And gems i did find!

Online Academy in this day and age of cyber-space driven everything, education by way of screen captures is becoming more and more common. Heck, we even do it here ourselves!) Shortcuts maintains their reputation as salon industry trail blazers by delivering their education via an online academy. For an over booked salon owner or manager this convenience can't be underestimated. Nice one, Shortcuts.
Multi-lingual ability. It's great when a geographically isolated, English speaking only, ex-British colony nation accepts that there's a big World out there that doesn't speak English. The 'languages' option on the right of the main page banner is subtle. But very mature and reassuring. Thumbs up for being a company without borders Shortcuts.
Salon Heroes - "In celebration of the some of the industry’s top business professionals, Shortcuts has prepared a series of CDs called Salon Heroes. Published on a quarterly basis, each Salon Heroes CD has three main areas on interest. Sounds good to me! Check out the details here
I've saved the best until last. Free Evolve Magazines. Yup, you can get the online version of the excellent Evolve Magazine just by pointing your web browser. Now that sis a good deal!
All in all the Shortcuts website is just like the software, intelligent, easy to use and a resource that you just shouldn't live without. I'm a big fan!
